Working Copy

Git client for iPhone and iPad, with an editor and a diff view

Clone a repository, edit files, stage changes, commit and push, all from a tablet. It plugs into the Files app, so other editors can open the same checkout. Writers who draft in Markdown and publish from a repository treat it as the reason an iPad can finish the job instead of handing it back to a Mac.

  • Apple writer · founder of MacStories

Names Working Copy as the Git client on his setup page, in the same app list as Files, Google Drive and Notion. It has held that slot through every revision of the page.
