Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Refillable brush pen with real bristles, made for drawing and lettering

Bristles rather than a felt nib, so the line runs from hairline to thick depending on how hard you press. Cartoonists and letterers ink with it; some people write with it because the varying line looks handmade. Cartridges refill, and it will take bottled fountain pen ink instead. Fits a shirt pocket and needs no water jar.

  • Writer and artist · Steal Like an Artist

Draws and writes in his diary with these every day, and calls them easy, elegant and long-lasting. He fills them with Lamy fountain pen ink instead of the standard cartridges, on the grounds that it is fluid and does not clog them.
