One Page Miracle
One sheet naming what you want in relationships, work, money and health
A single sheet with headings for relationships, work, money and physical, emotional and spiritual health. Under each you write what you actually want, in plain words. The sheet then goes somewhere you cannot miss it, taped to a mirror or stuck on the fridge, and it comes with a daily question: is my behavior getting me what I wrote down. That question is the part doing the work, since the writing takes an hour and the asking takes years. Daniel Amen built the exercise in the middle of the 1980s and has taught it ever since. A sheet of paper and an honest hour is the whole outlay.

An exercise he says he developed in the middle of the 1980s. One piece of paper, what you want under relationships, work, money and physical, emotional and spiritual health, then a daily question about whether your behavior is getting you any of it. Knowing what you want, he told Thirty Minute Mentors, is step number one.
