Springboard diving
Somersaults and twists off a one or three meter board
Work on a flexible board over a deep well. The drilling covers approach, takeoff, shape in the air and entry, and it asks for core strength, spatial awareness and the nerve to commit halfway through. Adults coming back after years away report soreness in places nothing else reaches. Pool access and coaching are the barriers, not kit.

Organizational psychologist · Think Again
Back on a diving board in 2019, for the first time in more than a dozen years, having retired from the sport half a lifetime earlier. It hurt very badly the next morning, he said. Part of what started it was teaching his kid some technique.
