Walking meetings
Taking the conversation on foot instead of around a table, and ending it with the walk
Two or three people talk while they walk. No slides, no room booking, no laptops. Groups stay small because a walking conversation breaks down past three, and the meeting finishes when the route does, which is most of the appeal for people who use it. Movement goes into a day that would otherwise be spent sitting. Anything needing a shared screen, a signed document or a large group is a bad fit, and so is heavy rain. It usually travels with two related rules: no meeting without an agenda, and a preference for a call, an email or a text over a meeting at all.

First see whether the meeting can be a call, then an email, then a text. If it has to happen, his advice is to walk it or stand it, and keep it short and small. Eight people around a conference table get nothing done, in his description.
