Heavily Meditated
Dave Asprey on shortcuts to deep meditative states with breath, feedback and pain
Published in 2025, this is Dave Asprey on getting the effects of a long meditation practice in far less time, drawing on the neurofeedback work at his 40 Years of Zen facility. Breath-driven altered states, a reset method for old triggers and what he calls brief intentional conscious exposure to pain all get chapters. It is closer to a biohacking manual than a conventional mindfulness guide. The claim that decades of practice can be compressed into days is his own.
