Godin's 2010 argument for doing work nobody else could have handed in

The industrial bargain, do as instructed and keep the job, has quietly expired. Godin's replacement: become the person a team would actually miss. That means judgment, generosity and emotional labor instead of compliance. Much of the book goes to the resistance, the internal voice that stops people putting out anything with their fingerprints on it, and to ways around it. It reads as a career argument. There are no steps. Godin has called it the most important book he has written.
