ROAR

Training, fueling and racing built on female physiology, not male data

Stacy Sims and Selene Yeager wrote it in 2016 for active women who had been handed programs designed on men. It works through the menstrual cycle, fueling, hydration, heat, strength work and racing, with practical protocols at the end of each chapter. Women are not small men is the line behind the whole thing, and Sims has been repeating it for well over a decade. Her own site sends women in their 20s to 40s here when they ask where to start.
