Apple's 32-inch 6K reference monitor for color-critical video and photo work

A 32-inch 6K monitor Apple sells for color-critical work rather than general desktop use. Local dimming behind the panel takes it to 1600 nits at peak, and reference modes match the standards used in video and print. Apple charges separately for the stand, which drew a lot of comment at launch. The display itself costs more than most complete computers. It turns up mainly on the desks of editors and colorists, and of people who buy once and expect to keep it for a decade.
