Apple Watch

Apple's wrist computer for activity, sleep and notifications

Tracks steps, workouts, heart rate and sleep, and passes notifications along from the phone. The Ultra models add a bigger battery, a brighter screen and a case built for water and cold. Third-party apps do much of the real work here: the built-in rings are deliberately simple, and anyone who cares about the underlying numbers usually installs something else to read them. Battery life is the running complaint on the standard models. A watch that needs charging every evening is a watch you are not wearing overnight.
