Resistance bands
Loop and tube bands for activation work, mobility drills and travel training
Graded elastic loops and tubes. Around the ankles or thighs they switch on the glutes before squats and lunges; anchored to a door or rack they cover rows, presses and flyes when there is no gym. Physios like them because the load builds through the movement and spares the joints. A full set costs less than one dumbbell, weighs almost nothing and fits in a carry-on, which is how touring athletes and actors on location keep training.

Pvolve's P.band, gliders and P.3 Trainer are the pieces she says she personally loves, mainly because they are portable enough to take on vacation or when working out of town. Her current favorite when WWD asked in 2024 was the P.band, an upper-body band with glove-like grips. That changes constantly, she said.

Most of his strength work runs on bands from the TB12 system, chosen because they travel anywhere with a floor and a doorknob and, in his experience, cause fewer injuries than heavy weights. He says he has no relationship with the company.

According to Centr, bands around the ankles and thighs, to fire the glutes and protect his lower back, are now a fixture of Zocchi's leg sessions with him. All part of a shift toward mobility work after he turned 40.
