Pvolve
Low-impact functional fitness with resistance bands, gliders and a weighted ball
Pvolve is a training method built around functional movement: small, controlled exercises done with the brand's own kit, including a hand-held resistance band, sliding discs for the feet, an ankle-strap trainer and the P.ball, a weighted ball worn between the thighs. Classes run 20 to 50 minutes and stream on demand or take place in studios, with formats that range from sculpt work to cardio bursts and progressive weight training. Its pitch is strength, stability and mobility without pounding the joints, which is why people recovering from injuries or tired of high-impact routines gravitate to it. Equipment bundles cost a few hundred dollars on top of the streaming membership.

Her main workout since a back injury in 2021, three or four times a week, after a friend suggested it could work around the injury. She says it is gentler and more efficient than the boxing and long cardio she used to do, and that she feels more in shape than ever. Pvolve is a brand she partners with: she has been its official partner and advisor since 2023.
