Omega-3 (EPA/DHA)

Fish or algae oil, often 1-2g EPA daily

Peter Attia and Rhonda Patrick both test the omega-3 index rather than guessing at it. What they are testing is EPA and DHA from fish oil, or algae oil for people avoiding animal products, commonly taken at one to two grams of EPA a day, with interest in cardiovascular markers, triglycerides and mood. Freshness matters, since rancid oil is common.
