Built to Move

Ten physical tests and the daily practices that move each one

Kelly and Juliet Starrett published this in 2023. It runs on ten physical tests they call vital signs: getting off the floor, breathing, hip extension, walking, balance, sleep, protein, and fruit and vegetable intake. Each one comes with a practice to go with it. The readers they had in mind do not think of themselves as exercisers, and the argument is that durability comes before training rather than after it. Every chapter gives you something to test at home and roughly ten minutes of work to close the gap.
